A Four-Shop Shawl Adventure!
We're thrilled to have you embark on this exciting creative journey with us. This will be a knit or crochet adventure, your choice!
Every other week, starting on I Love Yarn Day(October 12), a clue will be released for our adventure. Your total ‘buy in’ will be 4 skeins of DK yarn(one from each shop) for each version you want to make. You can always go bigger, too, but one skein(approx 250-300 yds) should be enough to do each clue as written.
You’ll need a size 6 needle for the knit version, and a size H(5.00 mm) crochet hook if you prefer to crochet.

• Clue 2: Released October 26th at Paper Habit, 1700 McHenry Ave, Modesto, 209-567-0605.
• Clue 3: Released November 9th at Aranea Craft Studio, 943 C Street, Hayward, 510-274-5050.
• Clue 4 (Final Clue): Released November 23rd, here at Needful Things, 2243 Geer Road, Turlock, 209-669-9009.
Please note these are the release dates; you will continue to be able to pick up the clue after the initial date, if you can’t make it to the shop on release day. You can also choose an online option, but the yarn choices may be more limited.
Each shop will provide you with their pattern section and have yarn available to purchase for that portion of the shawl. Don’t forget to choose between the knitting or crochet version or try both! Check each shop before visiting for their individual shop hours.
